For our canine patients we recommend vaccinating yearly with the Canine Distemper vaccine (DHLPP). This protects against Canine Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Canine Parainfluenza, and Parovovirus. The rabies vaccine is legally required for dogs, the first time the vaccine is given it's effective for a year and afterwards is effective for three years. The lyme vaccine is also recommend for this area. We also have Bordatella (Kennel Cough Vaccine) if your dog is being boarded or goes to a groomer frequently.
